Mountain Biking
For the cycling enthusiast, a summer trip to Revelstoke offers a wide variety of experiences. Road cyclers will appreciate the winding roads that head out and up from Revelstoke, while cross-country mountain bikers will enjoy ripping through the forests on Mount McPherson. And downhill mountain biker will love the tracks on the Boulder Mountain downhill network.
Hiking
The Revelstoke area is a paradise for hikers. With Mount Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park nearby, there are trails for hikers of virtually all fitness levels and abilities. Local mountaineers can provide insight on many different hiking experiences, from family adventures to glacier treks, and even heli-access hiking.

Rock Climbing
Revelstoke is known for its easily accessible, single-pitch sport climbing on steep rock. Most routes range from 5.12 – 5.8. From the short climbs and socializing in Shaketown to the intermediate-level challenge of Begbie Bluffs, there are plenty of options close to Flying Moose Chalet.
White Water Rafting
With temperatures in Revelstoke reaching 85F/29C in the summer, a water adventure can be a great way to cool off. The area offers great white water rafting options, with everything from relaxing scenic floats to lively churning rapids.
